■ Exposition of nikujaga(braised meat and vegetables) Japanese cuisine(Japanese food) called wasyoku in Japan was recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage in December 2013. Nikujaga is one of the typical Japanese cuisine. When we get married,Boyfriend want to hope girlfriend to make the one of it at home in Japan. And it is most traditional and popular Japanese cuisine. Also It known as mother's flavoring and it is typical Japanese home cooked food. ■Ingredients(servings 2) Total Time 30min ※Japanese measuring standards 4 medium potatoes 1/4 carrot 1/2 large onion 100g thinly sliced beef 2 tbsps salad oil 1 tbsp cooking sake 1 tbsp mirins(mirins is sweet cooking sake. It is an original and a staple seasoning of Japan ) 2 tsps sugar(using light brown sugar) 2 tbsp soy sauce 2 cups water(400ml) ■Procedures 【1 】Peel the potatoes,cut them of dividing a thing into 8 equal parts,and soak in cold water. Cut the carrot using the rolling wedges technique. Peel the onion,Cut it lengthwise into 7 to 8 wedges. Cut the beef into proper size for of eating. 【2 】Heat 2 tbsps salad oil in a pot,and fry the copped onion until their surfaces absorb the salad oil. And add the copped carrot and potatoes and fly them. Then add the beef and fly it briefly. Furthermore add 2 cups water in a pot. When the water comes to the boil,and skim off foam. Next add 1tbsp cooking sake and 1 tbsp mirin and 2 tbsp soy sauce in a pot. And simmer for 10 min over medium heat in a pot. 【3 】Simmer until all the liquid is gone in a pot cover with a small drop-lid made aluminum foil. Boil down over low heat in a pot, and then turn off the heat. Finally serve finished nikujaga in a small bowl. ■Attention! Sorry,I am a beginner at English. My English skill is so poor. I am still at the level of writing English sentences with a dictionary. So I am not good at writing English sentences yet. And at the same time, I am a beginner who has just started uploading videos to YouTube.

Let’s enjoy cooking with me👼💖 Subscribe to my channel here↓ 🤍 Follow me on Instagram😍🙌🏽 🤍 INGREDIENTS for 2 servings -Chicken thigh 0.5~0.6 lbs  -1/2~1/3 Daikon (Japanese) radish  -1tbsp sake(Substitute 1tbsp white wine) -1tbsp suger -⭐️ 3 tbsp soy sauce  -⭐️ 1 Dashi stock pack -⭐️ 2 tbsp suger -⭐️1 tbsp sweet sake      (Substitute 1tbsp white wine  & 1 1/2tsp sugar) -⭐️ 1 tbsp sake      (Substitute 1tbsp white wine) -⭐️3.4oz water DIRECTIONS 1 Cut the chicken into bite-size pieces💡 2  Knead chicken, 1tbsp Sake,1tbsp  sugar and a little water  in a bowl or plastic bag. This process softens the chicken💖 3 Peel the radish and cut into round slice thickly💡🙌🏽 4 Round cut off the corners⭐️ Then the taste will be easier to penetrate💡💖 5 If you make a notch only on the surface of it,the taste will be further absorbed🤩 6 Sprinkle a little water on the radish💧     Cover the dish and cook in the microwave☀️(1000w3m30s) 7  Oil the pan and fry the chicken🔥      Fry with chicken skin on the bottom🍗 8  when the skin slightly burnt, flip over it🙆‍♀️     ⚠️Bottom of the it is easily burnt because of the sake😫          Be careful not to burn the pan bottom😱 9 Add 3.4oz water(100ml), 3 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp sweet sake(Substitute 1tbsp white wine & 1 1/2tsp sugar), 1 tbsp sake  (Substitute 1tbsp white wine), 2 tbsp sugar, and 1 Dashi stock pack. 10  When stir well, add radish🥣    Take a piece of aluminum foil to make a lid and place it directly on top of the it💡 Spreads throughout the taste with a little broth🙆‍♀️🙌🏽 11 Simmer on low to medium heat for 10 minutes.🔥 Occasionally stir💓 12 After 10 minutes, remove the Dashi stock pack🥢 Simmer for another 5 minutes 😍 Enjoy!! #Japanesesimmeredfood#japanesefoodrecipe#washoku
