In 1975 the band Heart blasted onto the scene with Dreamboat Annie including the classic rock standards Crazy on you and Magic Man. The songs have become a part of the Classic rock lineage, and the album went to the top 10 in the US as well as sold over a million copies. The band had finally made it. From that point sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson would rip through the late 70s with amazing success on every subsequent album in the 70s including Magazine, Little Queen, and Dog and Butterfly all going multiplatinum. The band would have their share of adversity though including heartbreak, a lawsuit with their label Mushroom records, and a change in direction and faltering sales in the early 80s. Top 20 Greatest Female Rock Singers Of All Time We don't want to leave out the ladies so next up in our Top 20 series, we're diving into the Top 20 Female Rock Vocalists. As with the others, it's hard to gauge where the category ends and begins so I narrowed the list by gauging artists who fit the classic sense of what it means to be a rock singer. The list was compiled primarily by your requests and suggestions which sometimes included female singers that would fall more under the pop category so they'll be saved for a different video.
