Floortje vertelde dat het allemaal draait om creativiteit en lef. En haar belangrijkste advies: ‘Kies! I studied abroad in Hong Kong back in 2018 before the protests and I'm finally sharing my experience. I studied at (HKU) The University of Hong Kong in the UCEAP program at UCSD. For House of Europe: sounds like this, students from six different European conservatoires and newcomers in Utrecht came together in the HKU Utrecht Conservatory from Monday 4 to Friday 8 April 2022 for a unique international song project about Europe as home.

Tijdens de open dag op zaterdag 27 november 2022 gooide HKU Utrechts Conservatorium zijn deuren wijd open voor honderden bezoekers uit het hele land en daarbuiten. Met vocale en instrumentale sessies, concerten, jamsessies, meet & greets, open lessen, workshops en bovenal... Heel erg veel muziek! In alle disciplines en gespeeld op alle instrumenten. Van onze studenten en docenten. Maar vooral ook van veel bezoekers die in onze zalen en lokalen alvast lieten horen wat zíj́ in huis hebben.
